God’s will… the elusive searchReady to Go for a future event? Even though I would never have said that was my definition, my mind and actions showed otherwise!  When we decided to sell our home and go on the road, I believed that we were pursuing God’s will and I had my own idea of what that would look like.  I was sure it definitely did not begin the moment we left our home, it wasn’t happening when we drove to SC and waited there for our bus to be fixed, all the waiting when Matt was immobilized with a back injury was surely a delay in God’s will being accomplished, our time in New England with our kids was a “vacation” putting God’s will on hold, when our bus broke down in Virginia and we were once again “stuck” in SC I felt frustration arise as I wondered when we were going to actually be able to do God’s will!

I love the Holy Spirit- He is the greatest teacher.  He showed me that we had been in God’s will every moment that we were submitted to him and being available to be used by him! Such peace came when I finally understood that.

Since we left our home in Monson, we have been busy!  We have met many disciples and fellowshiped with them.  We have prayed with people all over the place.  We have served in different ministries and I have been blessed to have been able to love on lots of kids!

But now, it is time to move on from South Carolina!  Lord willing we will be heading west this week.  Our goal is Austin, Texas.  We will keep you posted along the way!

We are totally in the will of God- and hopefully so are you!  No need to pursue God’s will.  Just pursue HIM and pray that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
