This was my view driving down the road as we were heading to Connecticut. Our little Christmas tree had been moved onto the floor for travel, but I was still enjoying the cozy aesthetic as I looked out the window driving over the water. We had one of the best ever visits with Matt’s parents and our son and my heart was full as we said our goodbyes and moved towards our next destination.

There are a couple of neat things I want to share!

First, Leah just published a devotional for young women! Even though the target audience is young women, I must admit I personally got a lot out of it for myself. She writes in a very practical and personal way and shares her own experiences as she journeyed to freedom from anxiety and fear.

You can find it on Amazon here: It’s Possible to Overcome

I also published a children’s story book. I wrote a series a couple of years ago specifically to tell to the Hope for Kids kids at our Club Hope events. I wrote them in bullet points as I only intended to tell the story, not read it. I decided to write it out in story form! I hope to eventually make the whole series into books.

You can check it out on Amazon here: Lyka and Mia and the Quest for No Fear

We have a full schedule here in Connecticut and plan to leave right after Christmas. We love traveling, meeting people, sharing Jesus, discipling Believers, and having adventures on the road. But pouring into our kids and grandkids and continuing to get to know them and their hearts as seasons change is the MOST fulfilling thing we do!

On our drive we all listened to this story. The book comes with 4 CDs and that is how we helped pass the time! It was so moving and Leah wrote about in on her blog: The Real Reason for Christmas|What I Just Grasped this Week

We will check in again after Christmas!
