Our time in Kentucky exceeded our expectations! We met some great people and were able to be a part of a home fellowship that we enjoyed beyond what we could explain. Paul talks about the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:3) and that is what we truly felt. From worship to prayer to foot washing to testimonies to confession to communion to eating a meal together…. the presence of Jesus was felt. Prayer meetings were intended to break the power of the enemy and see God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). And in the days to follow there was proof that it had happened and is still happening.

From Kentucky we went to Tennessee where we were able to not only listen to Dan Mohler speak several times, but also to fellowship with brothers and sisters who stimulated us to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). We were so blessed!

Monday morning Matt and I prayed together about next steps and the Holy Spirit clearly told Matt to leave that day for Texas. So…that’s where we went! We made it to Arkansas and stopped there on Monday night. Then on Tuesday morning Matt was prompted by God to make our way towards Waco. We are there now and although we do not know next steps just yet, we found out that there is a local church in the middle of a 3 day fast for revival in this city! Let’s go!

On our way Monday night we had to stop for fuel. The gas station that Matt pulled into was full so he decided to go to a different one. God had plans! A man approached Matt asking him questions about our rig. But when Matt shared what we do, the man immediately changed his questioning to questions about God. He had JUST downloaded a Bible app on his iPad and had begun reading in Matthew, but he didn’t understand what he was reading. It felt like a Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch moment! Matt was able to explain what he had been confused about and shared Jesus with him. At the end Matt prayed with him and the man was very touched and determined to seek God on his own. He had been “forced” into Christianity as a kid and what he heard in church and what he saw in real life didn’t match. But God had been drawing him and he used Matt in the process.

After five failed attempts to get to Texas, we are finally here! Use us God. We are willing to do whatever you ask us to do!
