While living in homes, I always enjoyed having a window over my kitchen sink. But doing dishes while driving through the mountains of Pennsylvania gave me a whole new appreciation for a window over the sink in a bus. I had the best views!

We drove straight through from North Carolina to Connecticut and are staying put until our newest grand baby arrives- and we couldn’t be more excited! A bonus is getting to spend time with our kids and grand kids while we wait. A few of them had fun writing with chalk all over the side of the bus!

We have been busy “moving in” and this bus is quickly beginning to feel like home- with a wall to measure our kids and grandkids, homemade pizza, the smell of hot coffee in the mornings, settling into school days, and all of (or most of) our stuff in one place. We love that we can be “home” wherever in the US we are!
We have had some unique opportunities to minister while we’ve been here and are reminded to always be listening for the Holy Spirit. Jesus only did what he saw the Father doing and said what he heard the Father saying. We have decided to model our lives in that same way. We don’t make opportunities, we make ourselves available to God and listen for the Holy Spirit to show us and lead us to the opportunities he is arranging for us. Today was really neat as Matt shared Jesus with a veteran in a thrift store. So much more to the story, but it was amazing.
We are not sure how long we will be here for, but our plan next is to go to Indiana and join other Believers for a conference. We are excited to see what will happen there!
We appreciate prayer for Brianna and Erik as they await the birth of their fourth child. Stay tuned!
